Chrysalis, Queen of the Changelings by DeadHeartMare Chrysalis, Queen of the Changelings by DeadHeartMare
This is Queen Chrysalis! She's the newest baddie from MLP : FIM! Chrysalis is the Queen of the Changelings & feeds on other ponies' love for her. This evil queen is only 5 inches tall, far taller than the normal miniature height of about 2 inches. She's sculpted of Sculpey clay & also a Hawaiian water bottle (for the wings), a few ball head sewing pins (for the crown), & 2 tiny claw clippings from my cat Murphy (for the fangs). The whole process took about 4 days from start to finish, but just look at the results!! If you'd like me to create a custom MLP Mini Sculpt for you just message me, I accept Paypal. Thanks for looking! /)@_~(\

This is relevant to my interests-how much for something of the size and quality of this piece?

Chrysalis is a Limited Edition because I don't have much of the material I used for her wings so her price is $100. She's also EXTREMELY difficult to sculpt and takes at least 4 days just to do so, not including making the non-clay parts and drying times for the paint & glaze. However she's worth every penny, I've already got a few commissions for her and working on another now! Any Pony Queens or Princesses will be between $80-$100 for size (more than twice as big as my usual sculpts) & difficulty.

Well I'm new here so I don't know how that works but as far as I know all you hafta do is request from me a commission, here, nothing officially through DA or anything, I make it for you & we email info to each other about addresses & payment, you pay me through Paypal after you get my email address and I send you your sculpt in the mail. I've been mailing out my jewelry & creations for almost 10 years now, just not on this site. My commissions are not owned by DA so just go through me, not DA for my commissions. Thanks so much for the interest!

Thankies! I only thought of that because when the time came to put fangs on her I knew that the clay if I were to touch it before it was baked, would flatten & not come out right so I filed down the cat claw clippings till they were just the tips, jimmied them in place, removed them, baked the statue and after it had cooled I epoxied them in place & painted them white (cuz they're pretty clear & colorless without it). NOTHING about this sculpt was easy but it turned out INSANE! Right now I'm remaking it for a commission so I gotta do it all over again! It's ok, the one I'm selling is the one in the pic which means that the one I'm making now will be my display, now that I've practiced Chrys once it should come out even better this time! I'll post new pics with better res as soon as I'm done with it! This time I'm using one claw from both of my boys (boy cats, just making that clear), making it a very special personal treasure to me =^_^= I <3 my boys!
